WHAT YOUR TRIP WILL LOOK LIKE

Young kayakers leave behind the modern world and paddle into a 6-day white water expedition with a day on either end to load and unload. Waking up in a tent or on the white sand beach each morning, teens discover their own resilience: managing gear, helping with meals, or learning the responsibility of self-care.  Following mornings stretching and beachside mini lessons, kayakers head down river sharpening their kayaking technique while stretching their limits with their newly found river running companions.  Supporting one another with food preparation, exploring new rapids and discovering the beauty of this remote location make each day unique and extraordinary.  All the while, our first-class instructors keep the journey safe and notable for each teen’s personal voyage down the Wild and Scenic Salmon River.  River awareness, wildlife observations and river conservation add to the educational impact of this expedition. Days end under the starry Idaho skies, campfires, games, reflections of the day and quiet moments make this experience unforgettable.
